We opened registration for our 2018 National Compliance Professional (NCP) Conference in mid-January and extended the deadline for the deepest discounts until March 15. Numerous individuals took advantage of this extension as Bobbi was simply swamped. Now, neither of us are complaining… simply surprised as we already have over 80 people registered for the first of 3 remaining conferences I will be doing before I retire at the end of 2020.
Now that may not seem like a lot, especially if you have never been to this event, but the very nature of this conference is not your typical housing conference experienced in this industry. My goal is not to get as many people possible to this event rather my goal is to have an event that provides an environment where it is conducive to DISCUSS, BRAINSTORM and TACKLE difficult issues in affordable housing as well as provide ample time for MEETING and NETWORKING with industry peers from around the country in an effort to allow you to build a strong support group available long after the conference ends. This means doing the opposite of what many expect… limiting the number of attendees.
That being said, we have checked with our hotel venue and are able to have 130 attendees and may be able to squeeze in a few more if need be. When those are all spoken for, we will be forced to turn registrations away.
So if you are planning to attend…
please, PLEASE, pLeAsE…
drop what you are doing and get registered!
Some of the initially offered discounts have expired but you can still register at a great price if you get your paid registration in by April 30, 2018. I know many of you wait until the summer to register, but, please understand, I can’t promise there will still be seats available at that time.
