How it Works

The Site Course Package Plan courses focus on the site compliance rules and Housing Credits 445: National Compliance Professional focuses on the advanced compliance & management requirements. Once your payment is received and processed, you will receive an email from [email protected] containing your User Name and Password & a link to the Housing Credit Training Center.

  • To maximize your learning, we will start you out with the Course Package Plan.*
  • After you complete the package’s first course, automatic enrollment to the next will occur until all are completed.
  • You will have earned enough credits to earn your Compliance Diploma.
    • This diploma signals the industry you know your stuff & care about your education.
    • You have also met 1 of the 2 possible ways to meet the Education Requirement of the NCP designation.
  • You will then have access to 2 important tools…
    • the Site Compliance PRACTICE Exam and a
    • What Is Next… How to Get Certified course which details how to gain the maximum benefits from completing this package.
  • When you are ready, contact our office and we will enroll you in the ACTUAL exam.
    • Once enrolled, you will receive an email indicating your exam is ready.
    • You will have 14 days to start this exam
    • Once you start it, you will have 2.5 hours to complete it.
    • When you pass, you automatically earn your SCS designation.
    • If you fail, you may retake the exam at anytime for $49.
  • When you have passed the exam, contact our office and we will enroll you in HC445.
  • HC445 contains 2 important tools you will have access to when you complete it.
    • the National Compliance PRACTICE Exam and a
    • What is Next… How to Earn Your Advanced Compliance Certification explaining how to earn your NCP, HCCP or C3P.
  • When you are ready to take the ACTUAL exam, contact our office to be enrolled.
    • Once enrolled, you will receive an email indicating this exam is ready.
    • Again, you will have 14 days to start this exam.
    • Once you start it, you will have 2.5 hours to complete it.
    • When you pass, you will have met 2 of the NCP’s Education Requirements.
      • Putting you on track to earn the elite NCP-Executive designation.
      • You still need to…
        • Meet a 6 month Experience Requirement.
        • Complete a 1 page membership application.
      • Your initial membership fee is included in the price of this package.
    • If you fail, you may retake this exam at anytime for $49.
  • You will also be made a member of the NCP Membership Group at the Silver level.
    • Initially, you will begin your membership as an NCP-Candidate.
    • To move beyond the Candidate level, you must…
      • Complete a 1 page membership application and
      • Provide documentation you have met the Experience Requirement.
      • Your initial membership fee is included in the price of this package.
    • During this time, you can reap all the NCP benefits including…
      • Substantial discount on the Annual NCP Conference (held in October), PLUS
      • Other discounts on selected products & trainings.
